General School Contribution
This is voluntary, but is vital for ensuring a quality school has the necessary resources. Our reserves from the past have been depleted over the last few years. Your assistance in paying would be appreciated. There is a reduction of $5 for the second child and $10 for each further child.
Please consider when your child chooses an elective subject that the course fee is to cover the cost of equipment and consumables and must be paid.
All contributions / fees are paid at the Office in A Block. The cash register receipt should be kept. Class teachers, for courses where fees are necessary, will have to sight the course fee receipt and to initial it to verify in their records that payment has been made.
I.M. / I.O. - Students will receive a separate list of contributions / fees.
Mathematics Calculators
These may be purchased through the Mathematics Faculty and they will notify you of the appropriate arrangements. Payment is through the Office. Receipt is taken to the Maths staffroom.
Textbooks
Textbooks are purchased by the school for the use of students. Students must pay for any damaged or lost textbooks.
Student Assistance Scheme (Financial Assistance)
The Student Assistance Scheme is a fund set up by the Government to help parents who need financial assistance in meeting the education costs of students under 16. Assistance may be approved by the Principal to help cover the costs of some or all of the following items: Textbooks, subject fees, school uniform and excursions.
Application forms for the Student Assistant Scheme are available from the Office. Please keep and attach receipts as some refunds may be made on costs already incurred. Application may be made at any time and will be considered if funds are still available. A new application needs to be made each year. Parents having financial difficulties for any reason should consider seeking assistance.
