Engadine District Youth Services (EDYS)
We have established highly effective links with Engadine District Youth Services who provide support to individual students in addition to welfare programs in the school.
Our Welfare team has worked closely with EDYS on the following programs:
- assisting budding musicians to create a music CD
- drug and alcohol awareness program
- support for school dance parties
- anti-bullying workshops
- assisting to run a homework centre
- providing guidance for students who experience dysfunctional home situations.
EDYS has provided assistance in the establishment of a Homework Centre which will run from the Library after school on Mondays during 2009. Teachers from Engadine High School and staff from EDYS will support students in this venture.
