During 2009, Engadine High School will be launching a new learning environment where students will be able to complete some of their course requirements through an on-line learning environment. Staff will also be able to set additional assessments, homework and interactive activities to enhance student learning.
Students will have access to the e-learning site while at school and from home and will be able to participate in chat forums in addition to completing assessments, classwork homework in an engaging environment.
Parents will be able to access their child's timetable, school policies, programs and assessments. We have plans for expanding the system to make it even more parent friendly.
Teachers will be able to place additional course materials on the system; set assessments and receive them on line; conduct class blogs; access on line professional learning material to name just a few of the benefits of this system.
