F1 in Schools

2008 herald our first attempt into this competition.

Students design, using Industrial 3D CAD/CAM computer techology, a Formula 1 style CO2 powered racing car that is races against other schools within the Region, State and Nationally with the aim of competing in the World Championships for the fastest and best researched design. We achieved outstanding success where our students qualified for the State finals and narrowly missed on qualifying for the Nationals. Our cars were recognised as superior examples of design and construction.
