Achievement Assemblies
Achievement Assemblies are held twice per year and provide a formal occasion for students to be issued with reports and awards that acknowledge and celebrate their academic achievement and effort.
Celebrating Achievement Policy - Making "Dream, Believe, Succeed" A Reality
Our aim is to make “Dream, Believe, Succeed” a reality for all students at Engadine High School.
There are two parts to this policy. Firstly, academic achievement, effort and merit awards will be recognised at half yearly and yearly report time at special year assemblies.
Secondly, Presentation Night will celebrate the achievement of students who achieve at the highest levels in academic, performing arts, sport and citizenship.
We believe it is important for students to strive to achieve goals and we are hopeful that this award structure will assist them to achieve personal best.
What will happen when students receive reports?
- There will be a formal Achievement Assembly for each year.
- Parents are welcome to attend.
- The following awards are to be issued at the assembly:

- Year Adviser Academic awards for outstanding reports – positive comments regardless of the results.
- First and/or second place in class academic awards
- First, second, third and fourth place for students in selective classes, Years 7-10
- Consistent effort awards – one student per class.
